eBay listing errors - A mixture of Self Hosted and EPS pictures are not allowed.

For every listing you create on eBay, eBay currently creates the images on their own servers.

This error occurs when there are multiple images for your listing and in the course of uploading them to the eBay Picture Services (EPS), eBay seems to get the image information corrupted - leaving some images uploaded to their servers and others not. This mix-up causes the listing to fail since eBay expects all your images to be uploaded on their EPS.

The best way to resolve this error at the moment is to:

  1. Download all your images offline.
  2. Remove all your images for the listing in question, leaving only one image.
  3. Republish the listing to have it successfully published.
  4. Once the listing has been successfully published, add the remaining images for them to be sent to eBay.
In some instances, the listing may have been already published on your eBay store and the error was a result of updating the listing. If the above solution fails for such a scenario, simply
  1. Download the images offline.
  2. Remove all your images for the listing in question, leaving only one image.
  3. Save your product to have it successfully update your eBay listing.
  4. Go to your eBay Selling Manager Dashboard to add the extra images.
  5. Then come to SynCommerce to import your products again from eBay to have the added images imported and synchronized with the related store.
As much as we know this will take some work and time from you, it is currently the only best way to resolve the issue. We will keep working on finding better ways to resolve it.
